The Simcoe Muskoka Skilled Trades Expo is a longstanding community partnership that sees over 3,000 students try a trade and speak with industry mentors. In the spirit of that annual event, and the continuing work of Skilled Trades Promotion in Simcoe County, The 2024 Simcoe Muskoka Skilled Trades and Apprenticeship Expo will take place May 15th at the Elmvale Arena in Springwater!
Education institutions who have signed up will be bringing their students from 9:00 am – 3:00pm. The expo will then be open to the public from 4:00pm – 7:00 pm.
In previous years, the Simcoe Muskoka Skilled Trades Expo has been recognized for its vast reach and has made a lasting impression on grade 7 and 8 students. Check out these videos of previous expos!
