Small Business Enterprise Centres (SBECs) are a valuable resource helping local entrepreneurs start and grow their businesses. Part of the provincial Ontario Network of Entrepreneurs, the Centres provide free one-on-one consultations, business plan reviews, seminars, networking opportunities and more.

The South Georgian Bay Small Business Centre serves Clearview, Collingwood and Wasaga Beach

The Small Business Centre Barrie, Simcoe County and Orillia serves all other areas of the County

Community Futures Development Corporations (CFDCs), a Government of Canada initiative, offer a wide variety of programs and services supporting small business growth, including business loans for SMEs, counselling services and support for community-based projects.

The Henry Bernick Entrepreneurship Centre (HBEC) helps students and community based entrepreneurs validate their business ideas and grow existing businesses by connecting them with the tools they need to be successful including mentorship, funding, training and networking.

The Sandbox Centre connects people and their ideas to business resources; where guided collaboration and sharing of collective knowledge support their journey to success.
